Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why are they approved two years in advance?
A. School district calendars are planned two-years in advance for planning and scheduling purposes, not only for employees but also for families.
Q. Where can I find next year's school calendar?
A. All school district calendars are located on the Tooele County School District website, www.tooeleschools.org.
Q. When did the calendar survey start?
A. Last school year, 2017-2018, was the first year stakeholders were asked for feedback on different calendar options. There was such positive feedback that the school district wanted to continue to provide stakeholders the opportunity to vote on their favorite school-year calendar.
Q. What do I do if I don't like any of these options?
A. These three calendars have already been approved by the calendar committee. The main calendar chosen by stakeholders will be presented in front of the Board of Education for their approval. For future calendar options, patrons can email the school district with reasonable suggestions.
Q. Who is on the calendar committee?
A. The calendar committee is run by the assistant superintendent and includes educators, support professionals, administrators and directors.
