MEAL PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

   For your convenience, we offer several ways to pay a lunch account
          • Pay on any student or staff account 24/7 via credit or debit card (learn how below)
          • Pay at your student's lunchroom via cash or check from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
          • Come to the Child Nutrition office during business hours.
We use an upgraded online payment program called PaySchools Central formally known as Payforit.net
Review the following instructions on how to use the payment system.
 
ATTENTION STAFF:
You will need to indicate your Faculty ID# with 9999 before your number.
Do NOT include the letter in front of your number
For example, if your ID# is f123 you would enter "9999123"

ATTN: You will need your students' lunch ID# in order to set up a PaySchools account.

Student lunches will be billed to their Aspire account.
If you would like details concerning your students' account and ID#, the information can be found in your *Parent Aspire account (*the account you used to register your student)
The front office at your child's school can help with your parent Aspire login.
Pay Meal Balance: Staff
 
You must have a Staff Aspire account and ID# in order to charge lunches.
The school where you work will be able to help you with your Aspire login if needed.

Parents/Guardians,

If your student requires a special diet from our lunchroom staff, please have a medical provider fill out the Special Diets form and return it to the school lunchroom manager or school nurse.

If you have any questions, please speak with the dietitian at 435.833.1920, press 2.

The Income Eligibility Guidelines

The following are the Income Eligibility Guidelines to be effective from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. The Department's guidelines for free meals and milk and reduced price meals were obtained by multiplying the year 2022 Federal income poverty guidelines by 1.30 and 1.85, respectively, and by rounding the result upward to the next whole dollar.

This notice displays only the annual Federal poverty guidelines issued by the Department of Health and Human Services because the monthly and weekly Federal poverty guidelines are not used to determine the Income Eligibility Guidelines. The chart details the free and reduced price eligibility criteria for monthly income, income received twice monthly (24 payments per year); income received every two weeks (26 payments per year) and weekly income.

Income calculations are made based on the following formulas: Monthly income is calculated by dividing the annual income by 12; twice monthly income is computed by dividing annual income by 24; income received every two weeks is calculated by dividing annual income by 26; and weekly income is computed by dividing annual income by 52. All numbers are rounded upward to the next whole dollar. The numbers reflected in this notice for a family of four in the 48 contiguous States, the District of Columbia, Guam and the territories represent an increase of 4.7 percent over last year's level for a family of the same size.
