TikTok challenges can result in criminal charges

Harmful TikTok challenges are affecting Tooele County School District and we are asking families to help us stop these quickly. In September, a TikTok challenge encouraged students to vandalize and steal items from schools. Several of our schools were impacted and thousands of dollars worth of damage was done. A list of future challenges planned throughout the remainder of the school year has been circulated on different social media platforms. Some of the future challenges promote physical violence against educators and school staff, more damage and even physical and sexual assault.

Help stop the spread of false information

There are letters circulating around social media in our county using different school & district logos. The info being presented is obviously false. If you see it, please report it. Parents and guardians, please check your child's social media accounts to help prevent spreading additional false information. If you do not see it on official sources, it's likely not true. Thank you.

Tooele High families will be contacted by the school with more information.
