In an effort to show our appreciation, we asked our teachers and staff to nominate a guest teacher who they felt deserved the recognition of Guest Teacher of the Season.

Earth Day 2017

According to Earthday.Org, on April 22, 1970, 20 million Americans protested for a healthy, sustainable environment. By the end of that year, the first Earth Day had led to the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the passage of the Clean Air, Clean Water, and Endangered Species Acts.

Power Outage: Vernon Elementary

Rocky Mt. Power has notified Tooele County School District of an extended power outage affecting Vernon Elementary School.

The Tooele Youth Summit will be Tuesday, April 4th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tooele High School.

How population growth impacts schools

Fundraiser for Tooele Education Foundation

The Tooele Education Foundation is working with Love Utah Give Utah's 2017 Campaign to raise funds for students in the Tooele County School District. Donations are being accepted until March 30th.
