With a new building comes multiple changes.
Some of the big changes for students include getting to and from school. Many students who are currently bus eligible will now be within walking distance of the new school. Tooele city has provided a walking plan for students attending Sterling Elementary.
Students who are within walking distance can request to ride the bus by applying for space available transportation. Students will be picked up along the current bus route if the request is accepted. This does not apply for out of boundary students.
The new bus stops will be:
Canyon Road and Main Street, pick up at 8:20 a.m
512 North and 100 East, pick up at 8:25 a.m.
Lakeview Apartments, pick up at 8:28 a.m.
Families can start preparing now by trying out the new walking plan or finding where the new bus stops will be located.
Another change will be the pick-up and drop-off route in front of the school. Please review the pick-up/drop-off protocol provided to ensure safety and efficiency during peak traffic hours at the school.
