This is accomplished in multiple ways.
There is a free lending library for parents and students. It is a specialized library geared towards family involvement and learning resources of books, educational toys, literacy kits, DVD’s, and programs.
For Pre-Kindergarten with both parent and child the PIRC offers:
*Story & Craft Hour
*2 Free Preschool hours a week
*Kindergarten Readiness 4 week workshop
*Summer Reading Program for ALL students within the school district.

There are also parenting classes available that covers the pathway of a child’s school education. Testing information is available. For example, they will help parents with why testing is done, when testing results are received, etc. IEP information, to what classes are offered to their students in their secondary education; and how with their involvement their student can accomplish great things! The parent courses available are:
