Grantsville Area Director Mark Ernst and TCSD Board of Education member Alan Mouritsen will provide opening remarks before breaking ground on the new school. Afterwards, light refreshments will be provided for attendees.
“Thanks to the generosity of the voters in Tooele County, we are able to bring a new elementary school to Grantsville,” said Grantsville Area Director Mark Ernst. “The new school will address the added growth we are expecting. It will have a lasting impact on the community and provide our students with a safe and modern learning environment.”

Who: TCSD leadership and administrators; TCSD Board members, Grantsville City and Tooele County officials, and community members.
Background: This is one of three schools to be built from the 2020 school bond approved by taxpayers last November. The school is expected to be complete by August 2022.
