Masks are still the rule at school

This has been a unique and challenging school year. We are proud of our students, faculty, staff, and administrators for everything they have done to ensure we are able to meet face-to-face and continue the work of learning.
Before spring break, the school district sent out a message that all K-12 schools within the state of Utah must follow the Utah Department of Health order indicating face-masks are still required in schools through June 15, 2021, per House Bill 294. We do not anticipate this requirement changing before the end of the school year.
We look forward and anticipate next school year to be one where we will be able to see smiling faces in our classrooms. Until then, we have less than eight weeks left until summer break and we encourage everyone to finish strong with their mask on.
We respect a parent/guardian's right to make the best decision for their child. For those who choose to disenroll their student due to the face-mask requirement, we have provided links below for the homeschool affidavit or the registration link for Blue Peak Online.
If there are any questions, please call the Tooele County School District office at 435-833-1900.
